There is a question in my mind I never seem to find a answer to.

Why do people always want to own you when you spend some time with them?  You’re not even in a relationship, yet it seems they want to tie you down to their social life, beliefs and feelings….

I’m a grown woman, there is nothing wrong with me physically or mentally, I have a good paying job with my own set of wheels which I pay for myself, I buy my own fuel and pay for my own flat and everything in it.

I managed to survive the past 30 years and accomplish what I did, with the same body, brains and wit I have now, yet you act as thou I’m incappable of thinking nevermind surviving.  All because I have different beliefs.

When I’m buying food for the house you tell me I waste money and I must be careful to overspend, yet mid of the month you’re the first one to be out of money for your smokes.  While I manage to make my salary last till month end?  You consider buying food a waste of money, yet whenever you have some money, you will go and buy booze….

I love to get out and about, why should I sit at home all alone every weekend?  Because you are bored and feel instead of me spending time with my family and loved ones, I must rather stay at in town for you to spend time with me, doing all the things you want to do, like sit in front of the tv the whole weekend watching movies.  You start watching a movie and fall asleep and me? I’m sitting there bored out of my mind!  you even have a problem when I start doing my hobby (scrapbooking) on the computer.  Your comments: “I wish I was a computer, then maybe she will give me some attention too!”

Gee whiz!!! You tire me out!!!!  Get a life, get a hobby!!! For crying out loud! JUST GET SOMETHING!!!! Even if it’s just a spark in your lazy butt!!!!

If you want a pet, get yourself a puppy or a kitten.  If you want to own something, buy yourself a blow up doll! That will solve your problem.  She will be sitting there, not moving, not thinking while you do whatever makes you happy!

You can even put her in the little showcase you want for me to be in so badly, or rather the cage you’re trying to build around me!

And because I don’t want to settle for the above - I’m a selfish little bitch that wants to live “life according to me”!

Well buddy me got news for you!!!

Yes I want to live my life my way, because first of all I’m not responsible for your happiness, but I am responsible for my own happiness!

and can I tell you another secret:  I am the only person who is going to be there for me for the rest of my life!

I really think you should free yourself from whatever is chasing you, maybe then you will kind of understand my point of view…

Freedom is when you start running without a destination… you can end up anywhere you like!

I’m a grown person with the ability to think, work and live.  Don’t try to cage me in or crowd me.  Being afraid of losing me, will cause just that… you most certainly will loose me….
